Unveiling of this Altroz variant during Auto Expo ’23 garnered excellent customer response, boasting first in class twin-cylinder CNG technology
TATA Motors is all set to launch the CNG variant of its hatchback Altroz, with a booking amount of 21,000/- Deliveries are commencing from May onwards. The iCNG variant is the fourth powertrain its its broad variety of options and comes with a variety of features.
Altroz iCNG will be available in 4 variants- XE, XM+, XZ and XZ+. 4 color options are available namely Downtown Red, Opera Blue, Arcade Grey and Avenue White. It also comes with a standard warranty of 100000 kms/3 years. It comes with host of new features like an advanced ECU which allows seamless transition from Petrol to CNG and vice versa. Altroz iCNG by default starts with CNG which proves very convenient. An innovative first-in-class twin cylinder technology comprises of 2 cylinders each with 30L of water capacity (total of 60L) neatly stowed away under the luggage area in the rear so boot space is not disturbed.
There are safety nets built-in like thermal incident protection, a micro switch to help ensure the car is switched off while fueling and gas leak detection feature. Also the Altroz comes with premium leather seats, cruise control, iRA connected car technology, auto headlamps, ABS with brake-sway control, EBD to name a few. Also important to note is that it is one of the few in the segment to achieve full 5 star global NCAP rating.
